About the Story
As an author, ideas can come to you in many ways. You can be inspired by someone else’s work, have an epiphany, or see something in a new light, sparking interest and imagination.
… Or, you can be me and most of your ideas come from dreams.
I freely admit that the concept of Beddigan T. Mouze and his adventures leapt from a dream that I had right on to the page. The dream was so vivid and stuck with me so strongly, I knew the story had teeth (which were already sinking into my brain) and that it would need to be explored. Inside of 48hrs, this blog/website was born, and an artist was commissioned to bring Beddigan to life. I intend to upload an adventure of Beddigan’s weekly, in short story form, every Tuesday.
So, come along with Beddigan, former knight of the highest order of Her Majesty’s Sapphire Brigade, as he adventures through the land, chasing redemption and meaning in his life.
VOLUME 1

Beddigan T. Mouze had been living the Adventurer life for many turnings. A Hero for Hire, he had been travelling around the free Republic of Katheyra, making a life for himself, far across the Lorring Sea from his homeland of Illensdar.
The life and people he had left behind haunted him still, despite how long it had been since he had donned the uniform of Her Majesty’s Royal Sapphire Brigade. He kept himself busy in an effort to block out the memories… that is until he reunited with former Adventurer buddy, and dear, dear friend, William Bearhelm. William has a problem that only Beddigan can help to solve, and thus begins their series of Adventures, each more peculiar and threatening than the last.
Can Beddigan keep himself together while the state of the world changes around him? Has his past finally caught up to him? Only time will tell…

VOLUME 2

Across the Lorring Sea, Beddigan is out to save his dearest friend, and maybe visit his home country of Illensdar on a rare trip to the western part of the world. And though he knows the task of rescuing Willian Bearhelm from a Mormant prison camp won’t be easy, he never could have imagined how complex his life was about to become.
Upon reuniting with his homeland and estranged sister, Clottie, Beddigan’s life takes a turn, as he is forced to enter the dangerous Losley Deadwoods — a place no Mouse has ever returned from.
The world around him is changing, fast, and the pool of those he loves and wishes to protect is growing. On the run and out of time, with Mormant on the move East across the Lorring Sea, Beddigan and his companions must make a difficult choice. Will they be able to save their part of the world, or end up lost in lands unknown?

CHARACTERS

Our lead, one Beddigan T. Mouze, is both adventurer and gentleman. Follow along with the former knight of the highest order of Her Majesty’s Sapphire Brigade, as he adventures through the land, chasing redemption.

Long-time friend of Beddigan, William Bearhelm has lost much in recent turnings. Alienated from his wife and kids back home in Sinnerah, and stripped of his name and title to escape the wrath of Mormant, William endeavours alongside Beddigan to find redemption.

Unpredictable. Crazy. Assassin: all words used to describe Shianne. Estranged from her home country of Reene, and wearing a magical disguise, our vixen du jour is a long-time friend of Beddigan. Always there to lend a hand, she has always had our heroes best interests at heart… or has she?
